Kuwait City, located right in the middle of Kuwait on the coast of Kuwait Bay, is a perfect representation of this Gulf state.

How to get to Kuwait City
You can reach the capital of the Gulf state of Kuwait, which is located 16 kilometers from Kuwait International Airport.
Regular flights on Jazeera and Kuwait Airways connect the country to other major cities worldwide.
If you’re in Saudi Arabia, you can catch a bus from Riyadh operated by the Kuwait Public Transport Company to Kuwait.
The alternative is to drive through Al Salmy. Traveling to Kuwait City from a nearby city via train is an alternative.

Hawalli, often written as “Hawally,” is one of the six provinces that make up Kuwait. It was once home to a large number of Palestinians.

This metropolitan area is located in the east of the country.
This governorate is stunning because of its prime location.

The closest airport to this gorgeous region is Kuwait International Airport, located only 6 kilometers from Kuwait City.
Traveling by road, your options are to stay in Kuwait City and take a bus operated by CityBus or KPTC or to travel to Hawalli and take in the sights.

Kobar is a small Persian Gulf island roughly 30 kilometers south of Kuwait.
The little island, surrounded by pristine waters and sandy beaches, is sometimes referred to as “the Ibiza of Kuwait” by tourists.
You should include it on your list of must-sees in Kuwait if you plan to travel to the Gulf region. Get ready for some serious grilling on this itty-bitty island.

Salwa
We included Salwa on our tour of Kuwait because it is one of the most beautiful spots in the Middle Eastern country.
It is located between the cities of Rumaithiya and Messila. It’s worth mentioning separately, even if it’s included in the Hawalli governorate.
The British, Egyptians, Asians, and, of course, Kuwaitis all call this bustling metropolis home.
There are several malls and other shopping centres that cater to tourists.
Best time to visit: December to March
How to get Salwa:
The Kuwait International Airport is the closest airport to Salwa and is located 13 kilometres away.
Take a taxi from the airport to Salwa at your leisure.
Travelers stopping en route to another place often make a pit stop in Salwa.
You could spend a day or more there if you wanted to eat, shop, and sightsee.
Take a taxi if you’d instead do the latter.
